To contribute to the realization of our long term direction, 2030 Vision, we identified our Crucial Sustainability Issues (materiality) and incorporates them into our Medium-Term Management Plan to work toward their resolution. Through this approach, we aim to achieve both economic value and contributions to the environment, society, and employees, thereby contributing to the realization of a sustainable society.
Process for Identifying Crucial Sustainability Issues
We identify the key issues that external stakeholders expect from us, as well as th e key issues that we consider important internally. By finding the intersections between these issues, we identify o ur own Crucial Sustainability Issues.
1.External stakeholder expectations analysis
Conceive the requirements of the ESG rating agency as the sustainability initiatives that external stakeholders expect from our company, and quantify their importance
2.Internal key issues analysis
Select the initiatives for sustainability that is considered to be important internally, and quantify their importance

- Plot the Crucial Sustainability Issues on the coordinate axis of (1) and (2)
- Create an evaluation matrix to identify our Crucial Sustainability Issues
