Carrier Ownership
We believe that increasing employee engagement leads to the revitalization of the entire Group and, in turn, to higher productivity. To this end, we support the independent career development of each and every employee. In addition to sending messages from the president to employees and creating and publishing a “Pilot's Workbook” that clarifies the work of other departments, we provide opportunities for employees to seriously consider their own careers and take on challenges such as transfers, and we promote a culture that supports individual careers.
Executive Caravan
Since 2022, we have held Executive Caravan events, in which all employees and the directors of the Company engage in dialogue. We have held these events as opportunities for officers and general employees to interact, aiming to enable the individual employees to more closely understand the Company's ideas, including the 2030 Vision, and create a positive workplace that enables job satisfaction. We have held these events 113 times, and a cumulative total of 976 people have participated in them. A total of 222 hours have been spent engaging in these dialogue events.
PILOT’s Purpose Award
In FY2023, we established the PILOT's Purpose Award as an initiatives for internally sharing our Purpose, “ Our Creations Inspire Creativity.”
At present, all of the people working for PILOT Corporation are eligible to win PILOT's Purpose Award. With the goal of creating a culture of accepting and praising each other in an open atmosphere, the program collects and recognizes examples in which employees have thought about something independently, devised and implemented creative measures, and positively impacted the people around them in their everyday work.
Employees recommended 324 examples of these behaviors in FY2023 and 319 in FY2024, including one where on-site communication was facilitated with smiles and delicate attention and one where materials were digitalized voluntarily, a task which distressed everyone.
Moving forward, we will develop this initiative and share it with Group companies to expand this activity.
Defined Contribution Plan
Our company introduced a defined contribution pension plan in January 2025. We are working to improve the financial literacy of our employees by providing face-to-face investment education and individual consultations with financial planners.
Satisfaction Survey
We conduct an annual employee satisfaction survey to confirm the mutual understanding and trust between employees and the company.
